It's the start of 2024 and the 4Wood workshop is buzzing with the sound of construction with a variety of projects, for stage and screen. Happy new year to all of our friends and colleagues across the industry.
Partnering with the BFDG Awards
We've started the year by announcing our sponsorship of the British Film Designers Guild (BFDG) Awards. We are partnering with them to support the Feature Film - Contemporary category.
We're looking forward to celebrating the incredible work of our industry colleagues and friends at the event in London on 24th February.

Welcome to our work placement students
Over the last couple of weeks we've welcomed three students from colleges in Wales and Gloucester. Jacob, Jack and Matt are all considering careers in set construction and we're happy to help by giving them a taste of what it's all about.

Networking at 4Wood
We teamed up with Bectu, Cult Cymru and Real SFX to host a networking event last Friday.
It was fantastic to welcome so many people to the 4Wood HQ in Cardiff

Getting to work on a feature film
Amongst the projects keeping the workshop busy is the feature film The Man in My Basement.
We're excited to be part of this production which is filming in Wales and will star the multi-award winning William Dafoe.
We can't wait to tell you more.
