Project Update
End of Year Update 2023

As we approach a significant milestone in the Scone CBD Revitalisation project, we wanted to keep you updated on some important upcoming changes in traffic flow that are set to begin next week.

Key Traffic Updates

• Restoration of Northbound Traffic: The western side of the road between Liverpool St and St Aubins will soon be open for northbound traffic. This marks a substantial progression in our revitalisation efforts.
• Southbound Traffic Detour: With the east side of block 2 commencing construction, southbound traffic in this block will be rerouted via Main St. We've planned this detour to ensure minimal disruption to your daily commute.
• Schedule for the Change: We anticipate completing the first layer of asphalt on the northbound lanes by next Monday, 18 December and Tuesday, 19 December. If all goes to plan, and weather permitting, we will execute line marking and switch traffic around lunchtime on Wednesday, 20 December. Final wearing course of asphalt will be placed later in the project. 
• Rear to kerb parking: Rear to kerb parking been introduced along Kelly St between Liverpool and St Aubins St. Refer to signage. 

Please Note: While we are optimistic about this timeline, it is subject to weather conditions. We'll keep you updated on any necessary adjustments.

Contractor Holiday Period:

The Contractor team will be taking a well-deserved break from December 22 December, returning to work on 3 January. During this period, if there are any concerns regarding the site, you can reach out to our Project Manager, Allan Greer, on 0427 330 961.
