JQA International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest

The 23rd Japan Quality Assurance (JQA) Organization's Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest for children aged 7 to 15 years old held the final screening and judging on June 15, 2023 (IQNET was represented by President Alexandru Stoichitoiu). Among the 9,947 entries from 83 countries and regions, a total of 173 excellent works were selected, given honorable mention, and awarded with best prizes. The winning entries were announced and published on the contest website here.

FSSC Fees and Invoice Process Changes

FSSC is increasing the cost of uploading to their portal in 2024. In response, EAGLE is raising the current fee for uploading Client reports and certificates to the FSSC directory from $215.00 USD to €250.00 Euros, to keep up with the change in cost from FSSC. The Foundation Fee will convert to USD at the current market conversion and be billed in the final audit notice. Please contact your Certification Manager, Kollin Clark, for any questions or concerns.
Standards and Related Initiatives in International Cooperation to End Plastic Pollution: Mapping and State of Play

As concerns increase over the magnitude and impact of plastic pollution across the globe, efforts to identify solutions are gaining momentum. At the international level, the most significant intergovernmental effort is the ongoing work of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) on an international legally binding instrument to end plastic pollution to be forged by the end of 2024.
FSSC 22000 Version 6.0 Updates

FSSC 22000 certification comprises of three components: ISO 22000, the relevant PRP specification/s (ISO/TS standards and BSI PAS), and the FSSC Additional Requirements. These requirements must be considered alongside the documents available for download. In the case of translations of the FSSC Scheme documents (including the annexes and main changes documents), the English version is the official and binding version.

Superior Food Safety: Martha Camacho passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. She was the co-founder of Superior Food Safety, the Marketing and Sales Director, and the wife of Oscar Camacho, President of Superior Food Safety.
HACCP Consulting Group, LLC: Robert Lopez passed away on October 11, 2023. He was a valued associate, dedicated consultant, and trainer with HACCP Consulting Group. He will be fondly remembered for his unwavering optimism and commitment to his clients.
