Sunday Edition
Gooood Morning beautiful members! How are you all doing on this mighty fine Sunday morning? Safe and well, we hope. Us? We are reflecting on what’s been quite a big week for the whole SDC team. We aren’t sure if it’s just us, but time feels like it’s going faster than it ever has before this year, and we are starting to feel like we are running faster than our bodies can handle. So, we (Jon and Maddie) are forcing ourselves on a little break! We will be going on a little holiday this week starting tomorrow, just for a few days. But don’t worry, you’ll still be getting our newsletters every morning (and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons) because we are lucky enough to have such a remarkable team that supports us. So we just want to take this opportunity to thank the incredible people that work for the Seniors Discount Club day in and day out to keep this little community alive
and thriving. April, Vella, Sethia, James, and Sean without the five of you, the Seniors Discount Club wouldn’t be what it is today. So thank you for being as dedicated to our vision as we are. We are blessed to have cultivated such a beautiful ‘work family’.
As for each and every one of you, members, thank you for your ongoing support! You are the reason we have the best job in the world. We absolutely love the online community that the Seniors Discount Club has turned into, and we hope you love it too! Now let’s take a look at this week’s quote of the week, shall we?
‘Make someone smile every day, but remember you’re someone too.’
Ah, wow. We just love this quote. We must admit, we feel a bit guilty going away for a few days, because we honestly love what we do so much, but sometimes you just need to take a break even from the things that you love. So, this week we are going to make ourselves smile every day and hopefully, come back recharged and flooded with ideas for what we can do to make the Seniors Discount Club better than ever before! So, much like us, we challenge you to do something to make yourself smile today too. Maybe it’s something as simple as a cuppa and a biscuit, or maybe it’s taking some time to yourself. Whatever it is, we hope it makes you smile.
Now, let's move on to some news from across Australia and around the world this week…
