LUNGevity's 2022 Year in Review

HOPE Summit Registration Now Open

Registration for the in-person HOPE Summit 2023 is now open! Join us May 5-7 in Rockville, Maryland, for three days of connection, education, resources, and peer-to-peer support.

The conference features inspirational speakers and key experts on practical issues of cancer survivorship. Sessions will cover many of the issues people living with lung cancer and their caregivers face in everyday life, including managing mental health and sexual health, financial issues like navigating insurance, and legal rights in the workplace.

Thanks to input from focus groups during the planning phase, new this year is a Caregiver Breakfast, Caregiver Lounge, and a Lung Cancer 101 session geared towards newly diagnosed individuals.

HOPE Summit is free to attend, and limited travel grants are available to first-time attendees. For returning attendees, the Survivor Challenge is a way to raise money and cover your travel expenses.

Precision Medicine Summit

On February 1 and 2, LUNGevity brought together over 60 stakeholders from across the lung cancer community including patient advocacy groups, industry partners, health care providers and professional societies to:

  • Assess the current state of precision medicine in lung cancer care
  • Develop our collective vision for the future; and
  • Create a roadmap that will help ensure that all people diagnosed with lung cancer have access to these potentially lifesaving therapies

We look forward to sharing the insights, strategic priorities, and actionable steps this group is taking beginning in March.
