That said, I also thought I could be totally wrong, and it could be a strategic move on Rogers part to send her into the right water to finish the job. Well it turns out I was wrong. Michelle has made contact and updated us on her challenges. This is what she had to say. With Australia Day around the corner, it is important that we contribute to the effort to ensure our boating community stay as safe as possible. I have no doubt that this day is one of the busiest on our waterways and we can do our bit to contribute to the positive safe boating effort. The thought that comes to mind is to remind our customers not to be complacent. Some simple things …. # You’re the skipper – make sure your vessel is right & ready to go before launching from a ramp, mooring or marina. # Make sure your insurance policy has not expired (or simply make sure you have insurance) # Boating & Fishing is not a free for all. Make sure if you have your boating, PWC & Fishing licences in order. i.e. have them relevant to your state rules, and ensure that they are up to date. # Make sure your lifejackets & safety gear is in order, up to date and they are used appropriately and in line with local state laws.
