As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street.

October Progress Summary

In October, work in Scone’s CBD moved steadily forward, with key upgrades and improvements in Block 3 between St Aubins and Susan Streets. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to make Scone CBD more accessible for all.

Block 1 and 2 (Kingdon to St Aubins Street)

• Practical completion of Stage 1 was achieved on 27 September 2024. 

Block 3 Corner (St Aubins to Susan Streets)

• Completion of kerb and median islands
• Completion of Ausgrid conduits
• Completion of Telstra asset adjustments
• Completion of wombat crossing
• Completion of storm water pits
• Water main replacement

Works Planned for November

Blocks 1 and 2

• Minor defect works rectification

• Sealing around paver band and edges of the plaques

• Installation of CCTV

Block 3 (St Aubins to Susan Streets) - Stage 2 Works

• Footpath construction

• Milling to suit design parameters

• Median island construction

• Irrigation works

• Private lighting works

• Paver banding, Equine Walk of Fame plaques and landscaping

• Asphalt works and line marking
