Conflicting federal, state and local laws on marijuana use raise tough questions for HR professionals. Employers face an increasingly complex task of navigating rapidly evolving laws governing marijuana use, which vary widely from state to state. SUDs (substance use disorders) are some of the costliest health conditions affecting Americans, and the most common, according to the Recovery Centers of America.
