![]() Week of July 3, 2023![]() Chris Siebenaler It’s hard to believe that we are halfway through 2023! We recently completed our second quarter Town Hall meetings. At these meetings, we highlighted your efforts to improve processes and outcomes through kaizen events, our redesigned unit-based huddles, and your idea ticket submissions. Your ideas are leading to improvements in outcomes for patients and visitors. If you missed the Town Halls, we'll be sharing snippets here in the weekly newsletter and on Chris' Corner throughout the summer. Our next set of Town Hall meetings are tentatively planned for October, both in-person and virtually. These meetings provide an opportunity to celebrate our successes and stay updated on our strategic priorities. Thank you for your commitment to our patients and to each other. I was admitted at night and the next day, all the consultants came to see me. There is a young doctor from gastroenterology who was so nice and jolly when he came to check on me. He even spoke with my daughter and they exchanged conversation regarding their high school days. Every morning he came and greeted me with a smile, which helped me to recover faster. There is also an exceptional male PCA who really deserves a reward. All nurses and staff are the best. I have been recommending Methodist as the best hospital." Main 6 East Patient: "I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. The doctors and nurses were wonderful - always a smile, a clean neat room, very helpful. I have never been in such a wonderful, caring hospital. I recommend this hospital to everyone!" Brazos 5 Patient: "The care I received from the doctors, nurses, aides and food services was excellent, also the cleaning staff was very respectful. I always tell my friends if you are going to need a doctor or hospital - Methodist is the place to go."
