Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is thanks to @Suzanne rose: ‘Our phones were chunky and couldn't be moved around, our cassettes got chewed up, and the bigger the sound systems, the louder the sound. And don't forget the camera we carried around, scared we would leave it behind, and those photos we had to wait days to develop. Now people living in 2022 have all this in a mobile phone.’
Oh, how things have changed! It’s hard to believe that kids in 2022 will never know the struggle of lugging around a huge sound system or a chunky camera. But I guess that’s just the way things go. Technology keeps getting smaller and smaller and more and more advanced. Who knows what people will be carrying around in their pockets in 2030? Thank you, Suzanne, for sharing your memory with us!
