Project Update

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street. 

The Ausgrid outage was successful and the underground power on the western side of Kelly St between Liverpool St and St Aubins has been successfully upgraded.  Thanks to all the business owners for your cooperation, patience and assistance on the day.  That concludes the services upgrade for this block (electrical, water, communications and street lighting) meaning we are able to start delivering the new concrete footpaths.

The next Ausgrid shutdown for the western side of Kelly St between Kingdon and Liverpool St has been scheduled for 26^th November, which will conclude the services upgrade and be another important milestone for the project.

Progress Summary

St Aubins Town Square

• Completion of landscaping, planting and irrigation
• Practical completion of St Aubins Square with the main area opened to the public

Block 2 - West

• Completion of communication pit upgrade works
• Completion of Ausgrid power upgrade works
• Completion of water meter installation

• Completion of planter drainage in medians

• Continuing construction of median island kerb
