Current State of the Recovery World

The recovery housing industry is facing new challenges. Across the country, and here in Michigan, funding cuts are impacting essential services for individuals in recovery. Despite this, the need for safe, supportive, and sober housing continues to grow.

Reach Sober Living remains committed to filling this gap. However, we can’t do it alone. To sustain our homes, expand services, and finish projects like The Villas, we need ongoing community support.

Here’s how you can help:

• Make a one-time or recurring donation to support housing and programs
• Purchase an item from our Amazon Wishlist to help furnish The Villas

The Villas at Engleman is Almost Complete

We’re thrilled to announce that The Villas at Engleman is nearly complete! Exterior siding is now finished, and crews are working on the final interior touches.

Residents who meet the criteria—including maintaining at least one year of sobriety, securing steady employment, and demonstrating ongoing commitment to their recovery—will be eligible to lease an apartment for up to a one-year lease term. During this time, residents will have access to wraparound services, such as peer-to-peer recovery support, financial literacy coaching, and community-building opportunities.

Stay tuned for an open house invitation! We want you to join us in celebrating this milestone. We’ll be hosting an open house for The Villas at Engleman to welcome the community, showcase the new apartments, and thank everyone who has supported this project. More details to come soon.
