Sunday Edition
Well G’day there members. Here we are, enjoying yet another Sunday. How lucky are we eh? As you all know, we’ve been wanting to switch things up a bit lately and keep you on your toes! So I wanted to share with you another quote this week, seeing so many of you enjoyed last week's! So here’s my quote for you this week:
“Be the person that your dog (or any pet) thinks you are”
Now, if you’re a member who has a pet, you’ll know exactly what this quote is saying, but for our members who haven’t had a pet before let me unpack this one for you! The way my dog looks at me every day is like I am the Queen of planet earth, that no one could possibly be better than I am. I feed her, I walk her, I talk to her, I pat her, I give her treats, I give her hugs and I tell her I love her all the time. Now, any human would know this is actually just basic pet care (minus maybe the whole talk to them and tell them you love them constantly, I’m a bit of a ‘dog mum’).
But the bizarre thing is our pets don’t think that, they don’t think our care is ‘basic’. They genuinely think we are the kindest, most caring, loving, giving beings on the planet. They absolutely adore us and honestly, would do anything for us. So, if you’re ever having a bad day, if you’re ever frustrated or ready to lose your temper just remind yourself to be the person that your pet OR your best friend OR your child OR someone who loves you thinks you are.
You’re so loved, so try to be the best person you can be, for your pet, for your loved ones, but most importantly for yourself.
Now! Let’s move on shall we? What happened across Australia and around the world this week?
