Wednesday Edition
Good morning members, and welcome to another beautiful Wednesday! How are you all this fine morning? We hope you're well and have had a good start to the day. I (Vella) just recovered from an acid reflux attack caused by a mixture of bad habits (I know, I know) and am feeling much better now. When I was in pain, I realised that people should really take better care of themselves and not take their health for granted. It's like when you drank all night in your youth and had a hangover the next day. So, members, please take care of yourselves. Thinking back to our ‘what is the best piece of advice you’ve received?’ competition winner, health is wealth.
Anyway, that’s enough from me. We have some great things in store for you today, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
Starting off today, we have our Coles, Woolies, ALDI and IGA deals for the week. As usual, there are some fantastic deals on offer, so head on over to the links and check them out.
Next, of course, we have your second riddle of the week! This one is courtesy of member Dennis R. It’s tricky, so get those thinking caps on! Here it goes:

Today’s ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment is thanks to @Suzanne rose. ‘I remember when I was very young, we dressed up whenever we went into the city. I remember catching the Red Rattler train from Riverwood to Central. Then we would catch a double-decker bus to George St, shop at Woolworths and Waltons, finish at Coles, and eat in the cafeteria. If only I could go back to 1969 and have just one more day in the city with my grandmother.’
This is such a lovely memory! It’s a reminder of a time when life was simpler, and people were more appreciative. Thank you, Suzanne, for sharing this beautiful memory with us!

How stunning is this photo shared by @Oldino in our photography forum? They posted this photo along with the caption, ‘The gentle splash of the waves on a balmy evening was pleasantly calming.’ And we couldn’t agree more! @Oldino has captured the peaceful feeling of being by the sea as the sun sets. The colours are beautiful, and the composition is perfect. Great job, @Oldino! Thank you for sharing this
lovely photo with us.

Seymour, 85, goes for his half-year check-up.
His doctor says, ‘So, Seymour, how have you been feeling?’
‘Never better, doctor! You know, after my Becky died, I was lonely! Not anymore!! I met a beautiful 25-year-old who happens to love me for myself, not my money!’
Warning: This is a bit rude and crude, so read at your own risk. It’s still a hilarious joke, nonetheless. A big thank you to @mOiOz for sharing this one with us. Read the rest of the joke here.
