Who here remembers Allen’s coconut quivers? They used to come in a tall, unusual shaped boxes and were every kid’s favourite back in the day (that’s if they like coconut!) Nothing compares to these delicious lollies. Sadly, they don’t make these treats anymore.

Boab tree
Today’s picture is thanks to our very own @Steveh1955. This photo was taken while he was on a road trip not far from Broome in 2010. Woah, that’s one huge tree. Out of curiosity, we did a quick google search on boab trees and found some interesting facts. Did you know that it's one of the world's longest-living, strangest-looking trees? Carbon dating indicates that they could live to be 3,000 years old. They can grow nearly 100 feet tall, with trunks up to 30 feet in diameter! It grows in low-lying areas of Africa, Madagascar, and Australia. How interesting is that?

An elderly lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship, holding her hat tight so that it would not blow away in the wind.
A gentleman approached her and said, “Pardon me, madam... I do not intend to be forward, but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?”
Hahaha, this is gold! A big thanks to member Wendy for sharing this with us! Check out the rest of this hilarious joke here.

Apollo 11 was the American spaceflight that first landed humans on the moon. On July 20, 1969, humans walked on another world for the first time in history, achieving President John F. Kennedy's goal in 1961, before Americans had even orbited the Earth. After a landing that included dodging a lunar crater and boulder field just before touchdown, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin explored the area around their lunar landing site for more than two hours.
