Last chance to nominate local businesses that stepped up in the fires

Nominate a star business! Business Mount Alexander (BMA) is inviting the community to nominate local businesses that demonstrated outstanding generosity throughout the bushfire response.

We've received a fair few nominations already - Harcourt General Store, Victorian Miniature Railway, Little Red Apple to name a couple.

Take a moment to nominate them using our quick online form (with corrected link!) You may nominate more than one business and nominations take only a few seconds to complete.

Tradie breakfast in Harcourt

Tradie mental health organisation HALT, in association with Harcourt Progress Association, will host a relaxed breakfast next week.

HALT (Hope Assistance Local Tradies) is a non-profit organisation that hosts breakfasts to connect local tradies with community and mental health resources, and provide a safe space to chat.

Come grab a bacon and egg roll and a decent coffee and have a yarn. Connect with others and access a range of local services and second-hand tools. This is a chance to check in, and get a bit of support if you need it. All tradespeople welcome.
