All tools of statecraft

Yesterday evening AP4D hosted a Symposium in Canberra to launch the options paper 'What does it look like for Australia to use all tools of statecraft in practice'. The paper maps out Australia's tools of statecraft and outlines a vision and pathways to coordinate them, drawing from consultations with more than 50 government and non-government experts across Australia's international policy communities.

AP4D is particularly grateful to the Australian Civil-Military Centre for its ongoing support, the options paper contributors for sharing their expertise and our editorial panel for their diligence.

Our Program

On 13 February AP4D hosted an interactive dialogue: 'France and Australia: Enhancing regional coordination in the Indo-Pacific'. More than 30 development, diplomacy and defence experts shared their thoughts on opportunities for enhancing Australia-France coordination in the region. AP4D is grateful to H.E. Ambassador Jean-Pierre Thébault for his opening remarks.

The dialogue was the first stage in a collaborative process that will produce an AP4D options paper. If you or your organisation has relevant expertise or practical experience and would like to be involved please contact hpiper@asiapacific4d.com.
