The service will be by invitation only but to allow for as many people as possible to join in the event, it will be lived streamed on the Diocesan YouTube channel. We are delighted that The Revd Dr Isabelle Hamley will be returning as our key speaker focusing on the Book of Judges and what it says about community and leadership. The day will be hosted by Bishop Debbie and Bishop John and there will be a range of practical and interactive workshops, as well as an opportunity to hear from Bishop Debbie as she starts her ministry in the Diocese. Make sure to book you tickets before the closing date on Sunday 3 March. Started in 2016 by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, Thy Kingdom Come is a global wave of prayer from 9 to 19 May. During this time two teams will walk the boundaries of the Diocese, starting in Peterborough Deanery on Ascension Day and meeting back together in Brackley Deanery on Pentecost, walking, praying and sharing stories of faith. This year-long adventure allows you to gain a wide range of ministry experience, theological development and practical training and is the perfect opportunity to explore a future in ministry without committing to forever. Huimang school in the Diocese of Seoul provides free education for preschool and kindergarten children with disabilities, but currently has no outside space where the children can play. They are in the process of raising funds to purchase a piece of land adjacent to the school building where they hope to build a play area, but only have until March 2025 to raise the money.
