AP4D welcomes Jane Haycock, CEO of the International Development Contractors Community, to the Advisory Group, and thanks Therese Faulkner for her contribution. Our programOn 18 August AP4D held a dialogue, 'A joint agenda for maritime security: Southeast Asian and Australian perspectives', where more than 40 development, diplomacy and defence experts from Australia and Southeast Asia identified and discussed key themes and issues in the maritime security space. It was the first event in the Blue Security program, a DFAT-funded project running to the end of 2023 in partnership with La Trobe Asia, Griffith Asia Institute, UWA Defence Security Institute and UNSW Canberra Maritime Security Research Group. As well as setting the scene for the next 18 months of the program, these discussions will form the basis for an AP4D options paper.
