Measure B Newsletter
This newsletter is to help inform our Marin Community College District community of the District’s progress on the implementation of the voter‐approved Measure B bond. The improvements made possible by this bond allow us to continue our commitment to educational excellence in providing equitable opportunities and fostering success for all members of our diverse community.
Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC)
Marin Community College District is seeking qualified, interested individuals to serve on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). The CBOC is responsible for reviewing Measure B expenditures, with quarterly meetings open to the public.
There is currently a vacancy for:
- Taxpayer Association Representative
- Student Organization Representative
Projects currently in design:
Learning Resources Center | Kentfield Campus
Project Summary: Construction of new facility
Status:
- Final Construction Document (CD) presentation scheduled for June 2022 Board Meeting
- With CD approval, it will be the culmination of over three years of design
- "Make Ready" projects are ongoing
- Increment 1 has been submitted to the Division of the State Architect (DSA)
Waterline and Mapping | Kentfield Campus
Project Summary: Document the existing water service utilizing the campus as-built records and physical inspection and utilize this information to make recommendations and changes to the water system as needed.
Status:
- New project approved by Board of Trustees on May 17, 2022
Signage and Wayfinding | District Wide
Project Summary: Site access, signage and wayfinding improvements at the Kentfield and Indian Valley campuses to improve building identification, and pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow that is compliant with current accessibility standards.

- New project approved by Board of Trustees on May 17, 2022
Bolinas Field Station | District Wide

Property Acquisition - 830 College Avenue | District Wide
Project Summary: Tenant improvements to house the following programs: Welcome Center, Enrollment Services, Community Education and Outreach, and Cashiering
Status:
- Facility is operational
- Staff have moved in
Miwok Aquatics and Fitness Center | Indian Valley Campus
Project Summary: Multi-purpose aquatic fitness facility, dance studio, classrooms, locker rooms, and offices
Status:
- Facility is now open and occupied
