Dear Parents & Carers,I hope you all enjoyed Halloween, I know the children have really enjoyed the activities in the setting and love an excuse to get dressed up! With the October half term now out of the way, it suddenly feels like Christmas is getting close, so I just wanted to remind you all that the setting closes on Friday 15th December for the Christmas break, and we welcome children back on Tuesday 2nd January. I would also like to draw your attention to some important dates listed below, namely Children in Need and our Tempest Photography day. Please make sure that these dates are in your diaries! Please make your way to the Early Years building. Siblings (and children that do not normally attend the setting) are more than welcome to have their picture taken on the day too. Halloween was a sensory delight! Doing our bit for the local environmentWe recently took part in a beach clean at Crooklets Beach organised via the 2 Minute Foundation, a local charity organisation that encourages everyone to play their part, and help to keep our beaches clean and free of plastic. Our Halloween Club was a 'spooktacular' success!Lots of fun and laughter was had playing with shaving foam! Such a great sensory activity, which allows the children to have a go at mark making, drawing and writing in a really fun, tactile way.
