Welcome to this Fall edition of the SCLC newsletter!

On the science front, researchers continue to pursue improved treatments for this type of lung cancer, including various combinations of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Efforts are also underway to develop blood tests that could help diagnose SCLC and to identify biomarkers that may lead to more targeted treatments, similar to what we currently see for NSCLC. Indeed, SCLC remains an area of intense study to develop improved diagnosis and treatments to improve patient outcomes.
