A new winter cultural experience and a four-day foodie festival are set to ignite WA’s major events calendar in the coming months. Yesterday, Western Australia’s newest major homegrown event, Pair’d Margaret River Region, was unveiled and is sure to draw thousands of wine and food enthusiasts to the Margaret River Region from 14 - 17 November, 2024. Pair’d will be held across four days, centred around highlighting the region’s incredible wines, venues and food, with the final event program to be developed through extensive engagement with the region. Pair’d will be delivered by Tourism WA through Mellen Events and We are Gather and is anticipated to become an annual staple on WA’s major events calendar and a strong tourism driver in future years. Pair’d visitor numbers will be supported by the launch of the Sydney to Busselton flight route, joining the existing Melbourne to Busselton service in connecting out-of-state visitors to our incredible Margaret River Region. Another diverse homegrown addition to WA's major events calendar was announced this week, and is centred around food, performance, family and sustainable fashion. RE//Perth is an innovative new festival that
promises to warm up winter this July, proudly delivered by Tourism WA through WA arts and cultural organisation ARTRAGE. Taking place in Northbridge, RE//Perth is part of our ‘always-on’ approach, to fostering an exciting world-class, year-round calendar of events. Cultural and culinary events like RE//Perth and Pair’d give people a reason to visit our Dream State in every season and align with our Vision for Dream Events priority to support cultural events.
