Dear Duquesne University Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

As we welcome students to a new academic year at Duquesne, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the work you do to guide, mentor, support and inspire our students. Whether in classrooms, offices, labs, residence halls or countless other spaces across campus, you help students discover who they are becoming and encourage them to use their gifts in service of others.

Thank you for living our mission each day, and for all you do, often quietly and behind the scenes, to help students thrive as members of the Duquesne family.

I look forward to sharing a State of the University update with you at Convocation on Wednesday, September 2^nd – and to celebrating with you at my Inauguration Investiture on Thursday, September 17^th.

Have a wonderful first day and an extraordinary year.

Go Dukes!

Kind regards,

David J. Dausey, Ph.D., Ed.D.
