As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street.
A major milestone was reached in late February with northbound traffic returning to Kelly Street. This marks a significant milestone in the revitalisation journey and brings us one step closer to a CBD that is vibrant and accessible for everyone.
February Progress Summary
Block 1 - West
- Completion of footpath concreting
- Continuation of paving, horse plaque install
- Landscaping (soft works)
- 1st Layer of asphalt placement
- Opening of road to northbound traffic
Block 1 - East
- Establishment of site on eastern side of road
Block 2 - East
- Completion of storm water drainage
- Commencement of storm water pits
- Removal of streetlights
- Completion of water main installation (cutover outstanding)
St Aubins Town Square
- Milling and resealing of St Aubins Square cul-de-sac
March Planned Activity Summary

- Installation of street furniture and finishing works
- Installation of new streetlights

- Concrete pavement saw cutting and removal
- Commencement of storm water drainage
