NEWS UPDATE9 September 2022 Publishers noteThis is a special week for Marine Business News. On Wednesday we published our 1000th story since our relaunch in October last year.As many readers will know, Marine Business News has excellent heritage originating in 1989 out of the Yaffa Media stable. Last year we acquired the business and proudly rebuilt and repackaged it to a digital offering as it is presented to our readers today. Since our relaunch, we have grown tremendously, and we now proudly boast an enviable list of readers. We thank them, as well as our writers, advertisers, and supporters. Marine Business news is a project of passion, and the passion is still strong. When we launched, I said that Marine Business News aims to share news and information to the recreational marine industry with the view of improving knowledge and supporting the growth and betterment of the industry. That vision remains the same today. We will continue to publish our Friday enews with a handful of the stories from the week, and we invite you to visit our webpage for more and links to resources, photo libraries, reviews, our international industry events calendar, and our jobs board. This week’s enews again covers a broad selection of stories both locally and internationally, and I highlight our preview of “Untold: The Race of the Century – now on Netflix” that will allow us to revisit that wonderful event in 1983, and we in-turn will also celebrate it as our 1000th story published since our re-launch on 22 October 2021. Lots to read and learn about. We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of our “Marine Business News update”.
