In this 1 ½ hour session, we will overview what Conscious Care and Support defines as “The Hierarchy of Unmet Needs”. When this hierarchy is explored more fully by supporters, the outcomes can offer insights into potentially modifying treatment or support plans to better support the person. Essentially, when using this support framework, we, as supporters, can build our advocacy tools and expand our knowledge base to better support the person in living a more optimal life with less anxiety, agitation, and aggression. We will also explore not only the vital importance of developing our own self-awareness and self-regulation skills, but also the “how-tos” as we approach the work we do to support and connect with others. Upon attendance, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
