Saturday Edition
Good morning and happy Saturday, members! We hope you’re all enjoying your weekend so far. We’ve got a lot planned for today’s newsletter, so settle in and make yourselves comfortable!
To start things off, let’s take a look at the answer to yesterday’s riddle. So what was it again?
Two fathers and two sons went fishing one day. They were there the whole day and only caught three fish. One father said, that is enough for all of us, we will have one each. How can this be possible?
Did you get it? The answer is that there were 3 generations of men in the boat, so two were fathers (the grandfather and father), and two were sons (the father and son)! We thought this one would confuse a few of you, but it seems like a lot of you got it correct! So, if you successfully figured this one out, you’ll find a shoutout waiting for you further down in the newsletter.
Now onto our next segment for the day, ‘What Would the Grandkids Say.’ Today we’re taking a look at the term ‘FOMO’, which stands for 'fear of missing out'. It’s the feeling of anxiety that you get when you think you might miss out on something important or fun. This term is often used to describe the feeling you get when you see other people doing something you wish you were doing. So, next time your grandkids are talking about something they’re doing that you wish you could do, like going to
a concert, tell them you’re feeling a bit of FOMO!
Oh, one more thing before we get into the news, check out today’s Aldi Special Buys! There are a bunch of goodies here, including some kitchen appliances. So don’t forget to take a look.
