RSA CommuniquéPlusTēnā Koutou Katoa – G’day and hello , As we approach the end of 2023, we begin a run of events across the country, with a regional Victorian event under our belt, we are looking forward to engaging with members in Qld and WA next month. We encourage you to look at the upcoming events and conferences available to members on our website - with a mix of online and in-person events coming up, we hope to see you soon. These events provide great networking opportunities and chances to share information amongst the kidney health care community. I would like to encourage members to engage with Clinical Practice Pattern survey on Hepatitis B vaccination in CKD and dialysis patients. One of our longstanding RSA members is currently investigating the efficacy of hepatitis B vaccination in stage 4 & 5 CKD and HD patients. The aim is to explore and understand the professional practice patterns; timing of commencing the vaccination and to identify barriers, if any, to the implementation of the hepatitis B vaccination management. Your participation will provide important information on availability of clinical practice guidelines or identify barriers to overcome, as well as adding robustness to the research. Click here to complete the survey. We have so many exciting projects coming up at RSA over the next 12 months. Would you like to get involved? Reply to this email for more information on opportunities available to RSA members and find out how to you can shape the kidney health care community. Kind regards, Jon Hosking In this issue...
