Use MyChart to View and Download Radiology and Cardiology Images
Effective Monday, Dec. 13Effective Monday, Dec. 13, radiology and cardiology images will be available to view and download through MyChart. These include images from September 2019 forward, excluding stress tests, EKGs and other waveform mages. This is in addition to the imaging reports patients can already view in MyChart. Patients can select the studies they want to view from the Test Results menu under My Record. Due to the high resolution of some studies, it may take up to 10 minutes for some images to be viewable. For questions or issues, patients can contact 832.667.5694.
For Everyone Who Uses Apps Center
Access Replaces Apps Center
Effective Now
Apps Center, a platform used to access our network and commonly used apps when offsite, is transitioning to a new platform called Access. This will provide a consolidated location for many enterprise applications, including Epic. The new portal is now available at https://access.houstonmethodist.org. If you currently use Apps Center, start using Access and replace the previous link (https://ctxapps.houstonmethodist.org/) in your Favorites. Apps Center will redirect to Access, in the near future. We encourage you to start using Access now so you are familiar with it. If one of your frequently accessed apps is not in the Access portal, please contact the IT Service Desk and let them know what apps are missing and ask them to assign the ticket to the Endpoint Architecture/End User Compute team. You can easily submit your ticket through our new website at itsupport.houstonmethodist.org. Use the
Request Service button at top and enter in details.

Solarity Fax and Scanning Completes Successful LaunchesThe Solarity automated faxing and scanning system has successfully launched at HMH, HMB, HMCL and SPG/PCG, in compliance with HIMSS Stage 7 requirements. This new system brings improved patient safety by making incoming patient information available in Epic sooner and improving indexing accuracy. Until now, patient medical records were faxed here, with staff scanning the faxes into our database and then filing the faxes. Solarity has replaced this labor-intensive process with automation that expedites medical record availability in Epic, especially considering that staff manually handled nearly 13 million pieces of paper each year. Solarity also makes it easier to find documents in Epic by applying standard
classifications across all areas.
