I play Libero or Pass Hit these days. Connell: Libero Do you prefer indoor or beach? Why? Gane: I prefer indoor Volleyball. I enjoy the pace, strategy, and position specialization of the indoor game. Beach is still awesome though. Connell: Indoor. Having to work together and trusting everyone in the squad to get the results you are after. There is nothing better than winning a with a team. What is your greatest sporting achievement? Gane: Becoming a Tae Kwon Do Instructor was really cool, and I am proud to have completed some Ultra-Marathons. But it's hard to beat coaching ACT Volleyball. Connell: Playing U23’s for Australia and winning three AVL Gold Medals with the Canberra Heat. What is the most important lesson Volleyball has taught you? Gane: You can never achieve anything in life on your own, life is a team sport. Volleyball has also taught me that investing time and energy into communities of like-minded, good people is always worthwhile.
