HOLIDAY TREE RECYCLING

Every Wednesday through the end of January, Village residents can recycle their real/organic holiday trees by placing them at the curb or at the end of the driveway for pick up at no extra charge. Please remove all lights, garlands, and decorations. Trees must be visible, easily accessible, and loose (not in a bag or in a pile with other items). Artificial trees will not be collected.

January 9th: Celebrating Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Wishing a Happy Law Enforcement Appreciation Day to all of our officers for their service and dedication to the Northbrook community. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated officers and departments nationwide who work relentlessly to ensure our safety. Your commitment and sacrifice are truly appreciated and never go unnoticed.

AN UNLOCKED CAR IS AN OPEN INVITATION

Vehicle burglaries and thefts are often crimes of opportunity, with offenders looking for easy access. While Northbrook remains a safe community, recent incidents serve as a reminder that crime prevention often begins with simple, everyday actions.

The Northbrook Police Department encourages residents to take a few extra moments each day to reduce opportunities for theft and help protect both personal property and our neighborhoods.
