Career Planning Gives Students Hope at Wheatland Union High School
When students are involved in college and career planning, it creates a “new culture of hope,” said Carol Keiser, a teacher and CTE Director at Wheatland Union High School (2022 Career Choices Medal Winner).
“As a teacher, it really helps us look at our own disciplines that we teach outside of this class and cause us to figure out how to show our kids that this is relevant to their personal goals.” Keiser said. “It allows me to customize my teaching to their goals and it builds relevance within the classroom.”
