There's a lot to celebrate!

As we step into 2025, we’re filled with excitement and anticipation! Our plans for the year are brimming with impactful programs, initiatives, and events that will continue to transform lung cancer.

Join us on this journey, stay engaged, and help us make this year truly transformative. Here’s a look at what’s ahead.

FUELING RESEARCH INNOVATION

WHAT WE'RE DOING: In 2025, we will invest millions in cutting-edge lung cancer research. Mark your calendars for RFA Day on January 13, when we open our call for applications for innovative projects.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT: Research can foster breakthroughs that save lives.

ADVANCING PRECISION MEDICINE AND CLINICAL TRIALS

WHAT WE'RE DOING: Our working groups continue to push boundaries, driving progress in precision medicine and revolutionizing clinical trials.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT: Our precision medicine initiatives are based on the belief that every patient, regardless of who they are or where they are treated, should have access to the right test and the right treatment at the right time.

Clinical trials can get new treatments to patients faster, and they should be be more accessible to more people.

STAGE-SHIFTING LUNG CANCER DIAGNOSIS

WHAT WE'RE DOING: On April 17, LUNGevity’s Early Lung Cancer Center (ELCC) will hold its second annual meeting, focusing on shifting the paradigm to early detection and diagnosis.

WHY IT'S IMPORTANT: Early-stage lung cancer is much more treatable and leads to longer, better lives for people with the diagnosis. Together, we’re making stage-shifting lung cancer a reality.
