MARINE BUSINESS NEWS UPDATE

NEWS UPDATE

6 May 2022

Publishers note

Well, the PR people at Sanctuary Cove have been in hyperdrive this week, and rightly so given the great news coming from the Gold Coast.  A raft of new product releases, both on and off the water, have been in the news and we have no doubt both that the show and industry will be rewarded for their tremendous effort.

Let's not forget that the Sanctuary Cove Show is accompanied either side by two fabulous industry conferences.  ASMEX kicks off the trilogy of events on the Gold Coast and Marinas22 closes it.  IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO BOOK.  Below are the links for both conferences and I urge those linked to the sectors not to miss out on these special occasions.

Lots of news around the industry with appointments into important positions. Congratulations to Eleni Savva as BIA Vic's new President, Andrew Fielding as BIA Ltd's new President, and finally Matt Allen AM elected Australian Olympic Committee Vice President.

Keep an eye on Marine Business News this coming week, when we will be sharing some great news about the new E1 Hydrofoil Electric Powerboat Racing.  Wait till you see this thing.

Please feel free to contact me or our team at newsroom@marinebusinessnews.com.au

Stay safe on the water,

First-time boat buyers in USA exceed 415,000 for second time in 15 years

With local market statistics rare and at times questionable, it is interesting to watch international trends to see how the market is changing.  The USA seems to be doing it well with the latest reports appearing to reflect a local trend, anecdotal at that, and certainly not anywhere near the same volume.
