Dear friends,
Earth Day is just ahead on April 22, but for us at Adamah, every day is Earth Day. I invite you to take this opportunity to show up together—for our planet, our communities, and for future generations. Bring Earth Day into your life: to your home, your workplace, the young and old.
These days, the world feels on fire —here at home and around the globe. Most of these fires are human-made. Some feel distant or too complex to solve, but others—especially those adding pressure to our climate and the health of our planet—are within our power to change.
If you’re reading this newsletter, you likely already care. You’re aware and engaged. This Earth Day, reach out to a friend, start a conversation, challenge someone who has given up or sees the world differently, and help them reignite a sense of hope.
Help Adamah welcome more people into our movement and ignite that hope. Join us at our Jewish Climate Summit next week, visit us during New York’s Earth Day Festival in Union Square, and become a monthly donor or make a one-time donation to sustain and grow this work.
This Earth Day, let’s find our voices and do what we can to lower—and hopefully put out—the flames that surround us. So that one day, as Billy Joel sang, we can say: “We didn’t start the fire… no, we didn’t light it—but we tried to fight it.”
