IBEX in Tampa Florida (27 to 29 September) and METSTRADE in Amsterdam (15 to 17 November) are gearing up for what is promising to be a considerable return by the industry after several unsettled years. News from Marine Safety SA August 2022Local communities and visitors have seen river levels rise on the River Murray recently as the flows from interstate are impacted by rainfall events. The State Emergency Service issued flood advice on the 26th of August that predicted water levels are likely to cause minor flooding in the shack areas between Cadell and Mannum. Sentiment Poll (Q2 2022): UK Marine business outlook remains positive despite challenging economic climateThis week we again share some very industry data, this time from our UK counterparts. Whilst it does not reflect the local market, it does help us understand the sentiment of industry in other parts of the world. Horizon Yachts select PropspeedPropspeed, leading innovator of underwater foul-release coatings, announced it has received an endorsement from Horizon Yachts. The luxury yacht manufacturer applies Propspeed as a standard for all new models and recommends the use of Propspeed for existing owners as protection against fouling and corrosion of running gear and underwater metals.
