Dear Friend,
As a fellow lifelong learner and early adopter, I’m sure that most of you are intrigued with the capabilities of ChatGPT and what the future holds for this incredible new digital tool.
Bill Gibbons, ROAR’s content director and I thought we would try it out by asking a simple question: What is the New Longevity?
The answer was astounding and remarkably on target. You can read the unedited response in the “One More Thing” section of this month’s newsletter.
It is a reminder that we always have to be students, constantly learning and being curious about new ideas; this is one of the traits that all Re-Imagineers seem to exhibit.
We also have to be lifelong teachers, as well as embrace lifelong fitness, health, and fiscal well-being since we may all live beyond 90 years old. We can never stop growing and expanding.
This month, I’m excited to introduce you to three amazing women who are both students and teachers, as well as entrepreneurs and business leaders in personal finance, health tech, and brand imagery. Jean Chatzky, Melanie Goldie, and Stephanie O’Dell share the meaningful work that they are doing in the second half of their lives.
You’ll also meet two Re-Imagineers who stepped out of their first careers and reimagined themselves; one with a deep commitment to volunteering and service, and one going back to an early love of art and creativity. All of our Re-Imagineer profiles are on our new website, ROARforward.com. If you or anyone would like to tell a story, feel free to reach out to me.
As some of you know, I’m an avid marathoner, hiker, skier, and overall fitness enthusiast. In March, eight family members traveled to Park City, Utah for our annual ski trip. Here I am with three of my nephews before we headed to the mountain. It’s been a great joy to introduce this amazing sport to everyone in my family.
Next month, my friends Keith and Marty and I will head to Nepal to hike to the Everest Base Camp. The picture below is from a five-hour training hike that we did at Storm King Mountain outside of New York City. This adventure will also be a fundraiser “Hiking for Hunger Relief” through our foundation Circle of Generosity. |
