On Tuesday 21st January, join us for our Refreshers International Meet & Greet event, hosted by your Wellbeing Officer, Ella, and the International Students' Forum. Connect with other students, make friends, and celebrate the vibrant diversity that makes Lancaster unique! All students are welcome to come along from 12-2pm in Grizedale Bar for an informal opportunity to mix and mingle with music and free pizza! Keeping Warm this Winter ❄️We know that winter can be tough. With the rising cost of living and energy bills, there are a lot of difficulties that people – especially students – might face in their housing. So, to help you stay warm, LUSU Green and your Wellbeing Officer, Ella, have joined forces to give you five helpful, sustainable tips on keeping warm while also minimising the cost in a sustainable way. LUSU's Carbon Footprint and Next StepsWe’ve received our baseline greenhouse gas footprint report to guide our journey towards reducing our carbon footprint, and now we need your help! This year, we received our Greenhouse Gas analysis for 2023/24. The report identifies a breakdown of LUSU’s Greenhouse Gas emissions, allowing us to look into next steps for our carbon reduction efforts.
