August at
LGBT Foundation

Hi to our wonderful LGBTQ+ communities and allies - with just a few weeks until Manchester Pride, we're busy getting everything ready for a weekend of queer joy and are excited to welcome you to our events and exhibitions in the city this summer!

However, we know it's hard for our community to feel joyful in these times. We understand there is fear and frustration that comes with our identities and rights being threatened.

LGBT Foundation will always advocate in the best interests of our communities and we are actively listening and learning; exploring how we can use our influence as a national charity to fight for true LGBTQ+ equality. We hope you'll continue to stand with us, because together we can make it clear that trans+ rights must be protected and that all LGBTQ+ people deserve to be safe and visible—not just for a season, but for generations to come.

For Queer Hope & Joy,

Emma Dai (she/they)
Communications Manager 💜

Event Spotlight: Sapphic Showcase

The Sapphic Showcase is BACK for 2025!

We've curated a line-up of incredible LGBTQ+ women artists, including headliners Run Remedy and Lesbian Boyband Choir, to shine on stage and represent the powerful, creative, and joyful energy of our community.

After the showcase, you’re invited to stay, socialise, and connect with new faces. It’s the perfect way to ease into Pride weekend with a whole bunch of community and celebration.

If you missed your chance to grab a ticket to the event at SEESAW, we've got limited spots left to join our watch party at our centre, or you can view the livestream on Instagram @lgbtfdn.
