Welcome to the November edition of the Mac.Rob newsletter!

A few weeks ago we experienced the bitter sweet moments farewelling the Class of 2022, and this week we have formally welcomed the Class of 2026 with our New Student Information Night.

We so enjoyed the fun and connection of our final weeks of school with the Year 12s;  when the students dressed up as teachers, the Principal team dressed up as students. The carnival feel of their final celebration day was delightful. We had pancakes, jumping castles, performances, speeches and the whole-school guard of honour. Potens Sui Program | Semester 2 Expo

In Week 8 of Term 4, the Potens Sui Program returns with Project: Reconciliation. This three-day intensive enables Year 9s to explore actions the Mac.Rob community can take to support our reconciliation and inclusion efforts with the local First Nations community, while strengthening their reasoning and critical thinking skills. Families of our Year 9 cohort are warmly invited to attend a free social gathering, BBQ, and exhibition of student work on Friday, November 25th. Please save the date!

Spring Concert 2022

Presentation Night | Tuesday, December 13th

Students, families, and friends of Mac.Rob are warmly invited to the 2022 Mac.Rob Presentation Night on Tuesday, December 13th. Held at Hamer Hall, this celebration of the school year includes award presentations, music performances, and the announcement of the House Cup for 2022. 

Tickets will be on sale from the Arts Centre box office from 6:00pm, Monday, November 28th. Please check the school website and Compass for the link.
