Over-the-Counter COVID-19 Test Covered by HM Medical Plan
As of Jan.15, the Houston Methodist employee medical plan will cover over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for the duration of the national emergency. Coverage is limited to eight tests per calendar month for each covered employee and dependent and limited to $12 per test. We are working with CVS, Allegiance, and Quantum to ensure we are communicating the most accurate information on how this program will work. Click here for details on how to access the OTC COVID-19 test coverage. Any test purchased prior to Jan. 15 will not be covered.
Booster Vaccine Mandate
All employees are required to get a booster dose – by Jan. 31 for management and March 1 for all other employees. Please review the FAQ brochure with additional information. Click here for instructions on submitting documentation if you received your booster outside of Houston Methodist.
