Damien is Executive Director of the Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity which focuses on Indigenous leadership, including closer connections between Indigenous peoples in the region. A former Australian diplomat of 25 years, Damien made history as the first Indigenous Australian appointed head of an overseas mission, serving as Australia's Ambassador to Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
