New Technology Skill-Building Videos Available in The Teachers’ Lounge

Log in to The Teachers’ Lounge to gain access to the wonderful technology skill-building videos. Referenced in the Online Class Meeting Agendas, the Online Skill Building video tutorials outline projects that will help students build employable skills.

Created by Carol Keiser, Business Teacher and GFSF Lead Teacher at Wheatland Union High School, these videos walk students through projects that allow them to build and practice technology skills while supporting their learning in the Career Choices series.

Delano Adult School Paves the Way for Other Adult Schools to be Recognized with a Career Choices Medal

Earlier this year, Delano became the first adult school awarded a Career Choices medal in the 17-year history of Academic Innovations' medal program.

They were recognized for their commitment to student success, providing adult learners with opportunities for lifelong learning, and utilizing the GFSF course to prepare them for the workforce and build out a plan for success by fostering critical thinking and problem solving skills. 

“The Career Choices and Changes curriculum has profoundly impacted our adult learners,” said program lead Monica Deaton. “It is a life-changing course, equipped with the essential tools to help them discover more about themselves and what they can achieve,” she continued. “Upon graduating, our adults are fearless in making decisions that can change the course of their lives.”
