Welcome to your moment to ROAR!
Issue # 17

Dear Friend,

When we asked all of you what topics you wanted in the ROAR newsletter, your top answers were reinventing the second half of your life, how to stay healthy and fit, and new tools for lifetime learning.

Since that survey, our subscriber base has grown by 50 percent, so we are doing a quick survey to make sure that we are continuing to bring you what you are interested in!

TAKE SURVEY

This month, we have some important health tips for men and women from Dr. Paulo Pacheco, a New York City based gastroenterologist, as well as a special report from Liz Plosser, the Editor in Chief of Women's Health magazine and website. Both of them remind us of how we can live longer, healthier lives by following some simple guidelines. In the One More Thing section of this month's newsletter, we include 8 Top Longevity Tips and some research highlights that the longest possible lifespan for humans could be 150 years! Some experts say that the first person to reach that number is already alive! You may not live to be that old, but the odds are that if you are 50 and healthy, you will probably live to be 90 or longer, so now is the time to rethink the second half of your life!

If you want even more, it was my great pleasure to meet Dr. Peter Attia, the author of OUTLIVE, the Science and Art of Longevity. I'm recommending the book to everyone I meet!

In my book ROAR, I interviewed 40 individuals who had the vision to change it up once they were over 50. One of them is the incredible Patricia Forehand who is one of this month's Re-Imagineers. When you read her story, you will be inspired to pursue a new dream!

It's a busy time for all things ROAR. This month, I'll be speaking about the New Longevity at the WWD CEO summit, and participate in a Washington panel with the Alliance for Lifetime Income. Our ROAR MasterMind group continues to grow, as we expand our events for our members. This month, Dr. Mark Lachs from Weill Cornell Medicine joined us to talk about new developments in Longevity Medicine. He was interviewed by Rich Dorment, Editor in Chief of Men's Health.

If you want to learn more about our ROAR MasterMind and what we have in store for the second half of the year, reach out to Judy Glassman at Judy@roarforward.com.

As you read this newsletter, I will be on an epic adventure, hiking to the Everest Base Camp. Next month, I'll tell you all about it. As a lifetime adventurer, I'm always motivated to push myself to new heights (no pun intended). You may not want to follow in my exact footsteps, but please find your own exercise regimen to stay healthy and fit to live your best long life!

Best,

Michael
