Wednesday Edition
Good morning, members! Or Goedemorgen, as our Dutch member @Marianne might say. How are we all this fine Wednesday morning? We understand if this morning feels a little sadder than usual as we say goodbye to a beloved Aussie icon: Olivia Newton-John. Olivia passed away on Monday at the age of 73 after a decades-long battle with breast cancer, and tributes have been flooding in from all over the world. Member @Suzanne rose put together a little tribute of her own in our forum here, and we encourage you all to share your
memories and thoughts of Olivia in the comments. What an incredible woman she was.
Now, for something a little lighter. We have this week's supermarket deals from Coles, Woolworths, ALDI and IGA. As always, there are some fantastic deals on offer, so make sure to check them out!
Next, of course, we have your second riddle of the week! This one comes from member @Geoff C. It's a tricky one, so get those thinking caps on and maybe a notepad to draw! Here it goes:
Take three-quarters of a cross and a circle complete. Then let two semicircles on a perpendicular meet. Then take a triangle and give it two feet. Then two semicircles and a circle complete. All brought together, the thief of breath. It brings calm in life but early death. What is it?
Oooh, this one is a doozy! We're excited to see what you guys come up with. If you crack this cryptic riddle and think you’ve got the correct answer, head on over to our riddle masters thread here. As always, anyone who gets the correct answer will be rewarded with a shoutout in tomorrow’s newsletter! Good luck, folks!
