Measure X Bond Program Update

The Measure X bond program team has been working diligently to keep the program moving forward, while complying with orders for public health and safety. All meetings have moved to an online format, and activities in design and planning continue to progress within the current limitations.

San Benito County Campus

• Steinberg Hart is currently developing the Facilities Program for Phase 1, as well as a revised master plan taking into account the current educational and community needs for the campus.
• The second San Benito County Campus Community Meeting is being rescheduled as an online meeting, details will be sent out as soon as they become available.

Gavilan College Gilroy Campus

The Specific Master Planning findings for the Library/Learning Resource Center, STEM Center, and Visual and Performing Arts, will be presented at the President's Forum:

District Wide Standards and Design Guidelines

Steinberg Hart has begun creating district wide standards and design guidelines to guide the development of all Measure X projects, including:

• Information Technology and audio-visual standards
• District product and systems standards
• Room type standards
• Design guidelines
• Material guidelines
• Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) standards
