Saturday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another beautiful Saturday! Whew, what a week it's been! We hope you’re all well and enjoying your weekend so far! It’s been a long week for some of us (what with the floods, storms, and power outages), so we hope you’re all taking some time to relax and recharge. We know some members are still feeling the effects of the floodwaters, and it will take some time for things to return to normal. Our thoughts are with you all, and we hope you stay safe and dry.
And for those looking for something to do today, maybe you can use this time to catch up on some things you’ve been meaning to do, like reading that book you’ve been wanting to start or maybe trying some gardening! Our lovely member Pete shared his ‘Ultimate Tomato Plant Tip’ that he wants us all to try, and we definitely will!
Now, we've got a lot of goodies lined up for you today, starting with the answer to yesterday's riddle! So what was it again?
What is in the middle of nowhere?
The answer to this one is... H! We know, we know. It's a bit of a trick question. We hope you got this one correct because if you did, you'll find a shoutout waiting for you at the bottom of this newsletter.
And now, onto our next segment for the day, 'What Would the Grandkids Say?' Today, we're taking a look at the phrase 'the struggle is real.' This phrase is often used by kids today to describe a challenging situation. It's a way of saying that you're not the only one going through a tough time. You use this phrase to show empathy and understanding for someone else's situation. So next time your grandkids are going through a tough time, tell them 'the struggle is real' and that you're there for them.
Oh, and one more thing before we get into the news. ALDI has released their Special Buys for today, with some great home entertainment deals! So be sure to check them out!
