Wednesday Edition
Good morning, members, and welcome to another wonderful Wednesday! We have some great stuff lined up for you today, so make sure you’re comfy, warm, and have a cuppa handy.
Speaking of which, despite our protestations about how cold it was in Sydney yesterday (and how awful it is that winter is upon us), today is actually a cracker of a day in our neck of the woods. Want to complain about the cold, gloat about the fact that it’s still warm and sunny where you are, or just otherwise shoot the breeze? Send us an email and say hello, we always love hearing from you. Now, on to business.
First up, we have this week’s deals from Coles, Woolworths, Aldi
and IGA. There are some great bargains to be had, so make sure you check them out.
Next, of course, we have your second riddle of the week! It’s a tricky one, so get those thinking caps on! Here it goes:
I saw a man in white, he looked quite a sight. He was not old, but he stood in the cold. And when he felt the sun, he started to run. Please answer me. Who could he be?
Hmmm, this is a tough one, so we’re giving you a clue: he’s from a children’s nursery rhyme pertaining to a particular holiday. If you think you know the answer, head on over to our riddle masters thread here and submit it. As always, anyone who gets the correct answer will be rewarded with a shoutout in tomorrow’s newsletter.
Just briefly, before we get to the news, we'd like to let you know that we've made a couple of small design changes to both the SDC's homepage and its article pages. We'll send through a full rundown shortly, but in the meantime if you notice any bugs please do let us know by replying to this email.
