Welcome to the May 2023 Newsletter from the SCLC Patient Gateway.

In these articles, you will read about how doctors are working to understand the optimal use of immunotherapy in treating SCLC as well as discussing newer treatments such as lurbinectidin or bi-specific antibodies. Clearly, there is still much room for improvement when it comes to new therapies for SCLC.

There was excitement at the recent AACR cancer conference in Orlando where a team of researchers discussed progress in identifying new subtypes of SCLC based on various biomarkers. This is providing hope that we'll soon be able to develop targeted therapies for SCLC similar to how NSCLC is currently managed.
